Joan Miro. Oiseau Nocturne. 1939. Christies King St.London.  Evening  Auction. The Art of the Surreal. 4th February 2014. Est.£1.000.000.-£1.500.000. The Portuguese Govt is selling an important collection of Miro’s work that had previously been the property of a Portuguese Bank.BPN. A Private Bank that was nationalised by the Portuguese Govt.  It is rumoured that this large collection may be of interest to the Collector Jose Manuel Berardo & active Stock Trader on the Portuguese Stock Exchange. Senhor Berardo’s personal fortune is estimated @ 1.9 billion euros.. Senhor Berardo founded the the Centro Cutural de Belem, on the outskirts of Lisbon. Inaugurated in 2004, there are over a 1000 works of Art on display. A dynamic selection of Contemporary Art. From Surrealism-Pop-Art-HyperRealism to Conceptual Art.The Exhibition centre has easy public transport from Lisbon.
