LARC Latin American Racing Channel. Sponsors a day’s racing at Deauville. Prize money for the LARC Prix Maurice de Gheest euro 380.000. Organised by France Galop. LARC has a sponsorship agreement in South America with Longines.

LARC Latin American Racing Channel sponsored a good day’s racing at Deauville La Touques racecourse organised by France Galop, and which drew in a large crowd with lots of children. Each race day there is a shiny, new Renault car to win. The principal race of the day was the LARC Prix Maurice Gheest ,total prize money, euro 380.000.

Despite Wesley Ward’s heroic endeavour coming over from the United States to compete in the LARC Prix Maurice Gheest, his horse, Bound for Nowhere, lived up to the name. 

Superstar Carravagio came 6th.

Surprise winner was Brando, Aclaim coming second.
